The Chinaman
the official chinaman story...
Texas based comedian Mark Britten brings a full plate of comedy to the stage. Perfectly mastered impressions, a plethora of musical parodies, and clever anecdotes are all delivered at a brisk pace with an ample portion of comedy charisma. And what more would you expect from someone who calls himself "The Chinaman?"
The impressions--they're all there and them some. From the always-popular Schwartzenager to musical groups such as Pearl Jam and rock singer Dave Matthews, "The Chinaman" is a natural with new impressions manifesting themselves almost daily. He is the voice of several characters on the cartoon network's number one cartoon "Dragon Ball Z" and his popularity is rising quickly, with other TV appearances on A&E's "Evening at the Improv," and NBC's "Friday Night."
Raised in Arlington, Texas, by his Chinese mother and Caucasian father, Mark's act brings light to his Chinese heritage and ethnic background. He is thankful for his dysfunctional upbringing, which is loaded with material. And although mom and dad didn't embrace their son's desires to drop out of college and pursue his comedy career, as it turns out, it wasn't such a bad idea. Now Mark spends thirty weeks on the road and his off time with his son Avery who is thrilled that his dad can "make a sound like argh."--the list is endless!
