Finesse Mitchell

Fresh off of the 2013 Shaq All-Star Comedy Jam tour, Finesse Mitchell shined as a featured performer on the SHAQ All-Star one-hour comedy special taped in Atlanta, GA which recently aired on SHOWTIME.  His frequent appearances on Bethenny or The Arsenio Hall Show keeps Finesse's humor on TV day and night.  A Saturday Night Live alum, Finesse Mitchell, a versatile actor and comedian, also plays China's Dad, "Darryl" on the hit Disney show, “A.N.T Farm”, now in its third season.  And Mitchell's TV work ramps up even more in 2014 as he is slated to host the Game Show Network's "Who's The Imposter" and B.E.T. Centric's new show, "According To HIM and HER".

 

Mitchell has had numerous appearances on NBC's Today show and has been seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, TBS "Who Gets The Last Laugh", Fox dating show "The Choice", VH-1 hit show “Single Ladies” as “Jobari”, B.E.T “Comic View”, “Tyra”, Ricki Lake, Jeff Probst, “Comedy Central Presents” and Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns”. His feature film work includes “Who’s your Caddy”, “The Comebacks”, “Mad Money” and the upcoming "Barely Lethal" which also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba which is set for a 2014 release.

 

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Finesse graduated from the University of Miami and is a distinguished member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. He is also a former student-athlete who was a walk-on for the National Champion Hurricanes football team and played with such UM alumni as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Super bowl champion, Warren Sapp. His book, “Your Girlfriends Only Know So Much: A Brother’s Take on Dating and Mating for Sistas" (2007) is an advice book for women. It was born out of his hip, hilarious and widely popular monthly advice column for ESSENCE Magazine.

Drew Frees

Drew Frees is a giggle-inducing gentleman that was adopted by Chicago 13 years ago. He built his comedy chops performing improve and sketch comedy at Chicago staples, IO and Second City. Now he tours the Midwest with his stand-up and has been seen on TBS Just for Laughs and Laughs on Fox, and performed in Best of Midwest at Gilda’s Laughfest and Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. In Chicago, you can regularly catch him performing at The Comedy Bar and The Laugh Factory. Drew is tickled pink to be headlining at the Comedy Club on State for the first time. So sit back, put on your favorite cardigan, and enjoy the whimsical musings of the lovely man Drew Frees!

Kelsie Huff

Kelsie Huff is one of Chicago's up and coming stand up comedians, performing at venues such as Zanies, Chicago's Laugh Factory, Mayne Stage, and throughout the suburbs. She has also performed at several comedy festivals including, New Orleans, North Carolina, Boston Women in Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and Chicago Funny Female Festival.

Huff has performed in short films, was the commercial "spokesfly" for the Life Foundation, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago. She is very proud to produce the monthly all female comedy showcase the kates. Kelsie is a senior cast member of Comedy Sportz 100 Proof Comedy and teaches Feminine Comique, an all female stand up class produced by Tight Five Productions.
