Nate Bargatze is a southern born comedian from Old Hickory, Tennessee. He came from a wonderful home where everyone had a great sense of humor. One of Nate's earliest memories is watching his father who is a world class comedic magician. Stephen Bargatze is in the top 150 greatest sleight of hand magicians in the world. Although Nate admired what his father did, he was lazy about learning the tricks so he decided to go into stand up comedy. In 2002, he moved to Chicago and started taking improv classes and doing stand up. He was in Chicago for two years and then moved to New York City. New York is where he started to get real serious about comedy and performing every night. Although he has been in New York for only two years, he has taken it by storm. He has performed at Caroline's on Broadway, New York Improv, Comedy Village, Stand-Up New York, Rascals, and Zanies to name a few. On February 16, 2007, he made his TV debut on CMT Comedy Stage. He has also been featured on MSG NY and has also been heard on XM radio and toured all over the country.
Drew Frees is a giggle-inducing gentleman that was adopted by Chicago 13 years ago. He built his comedy chops performing improve and sketch comedy at Chicago staples, IO and Second City. Now he tours the Midwest with his stand-up and has been seen on TBS Just for Laughs and Laughs on Fox, and performed in Best of Midwest at Gilda’s Laughfest and Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. In Chicago, you can regularly catch him performing at The Comedy Bar and The Laugh Factory. Drew is tickled pink to be headlining at the Comedy Club on State for the first time. So sit back, put on your favorite cardigan, and enjoy the whimsical musings of the lovely man Drew Frees!
