The Alter Ego Mic On State is an open mic at Comedy on State on August 27th, where all comics are encouraged to dress up and perform in character.  Comics who have prepared to perform in character will be prioritized. “Alter Egos” can refer to original characters created by the comics or characters that already exist in the current zeitgeist, or throughout history.

Comics should describe their character, or Alter Ego, in the “notes” section when they sign up online here between 12-6pm on August 27th, and be sure to check in at the host stand no later than 7:25pm.  Doors for this event open at 6:30pm, and the show will begin at 8pm.
